On November 15, the Executive Secretary of CMI, Rubens Ricardo Franz, was in Brasília to participate in the 1st Brazilian Congress of Masonic Research, held with the support of the Grand Masonic Lodge of the Federal District.

He delivered the lecture “Evolving Intelligences: Forging Leaders for Society 5.0”, highlighting the role of Freemasonry in addressing contemporary challenges.

The congress brought deep reflections on essential themes, such as: the allegorical-symbolic method present in Freemasonry; the historical trajectory of Masonic education; foundations, methods and objectives of Masonic education; and the rediscovery of Freemasonry through the Authentic School.

The event also featured the debate “The Future of Masonic Education in Brazil” and concluded with the inspiring Grand Lecture “The Red Triangle: A History of Anti-Masonry”, presented by Robert L. D. Cooper, historian, Past Master of the Research Lodge “Quatuor Coronati” and former curator of the Library and Museum of the Grand Lodge of Scotland.

A historic milestone for Masonic research in Brazil, reaffirming CMI’s commitment to education, knowledge and the development of leaders for a fairer and more advanced society.
