The International Seminar on Strategic Security in Latin America: Cross-Border Crimes and the Contribution to Safe Environments was successfully held in San Salvador, El Salvador, from February 20 to 22, 2026.
With the presence of several distinguished leaders, including the Executive Secretary of CMI, Rubens Ricardo Franz, and the Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Cuscatlán, Ernesto Quiñómez, the event featured in-depth debates, high-level panels, and exchanges of experiences among authorities, experts, and representatives of civil society from various countries in the region.
Security is not merely the absence of violence: it is the presence of the State, social cohesion, effective justice, and human dignity. Latin America needs an organized society that is not a spectator of conflict, but an architect of peace, legality, and a shared future.
