Celebrating the 79th anniversary of CMI and in the welcoming heart of Brazil, in the vibrant city of Campo Grande, the XXIX Preparatory General Assembly of the Inter-American Masonic Confederation (CMI) was held from April 8 to 11, 2026.

This historic gathering renewed our eternal mission. Guided by our enduring Mission, we reaffirm with unwavering strength and conviction our commitment to strengthening Inter-American Freemasonry through fraternal unity and a profound sense of belonging. Inspired by this ideal, we seek to elevate the human being and improve society based on immutable moral and ethical principles.

We firmly believe that fraternal union is the transformative force capable of contributing to the construction of a more just, peaceful, and ethical Inter-American region.

At this Assembly, we deliberated and approved concrete and transformative

actions, among which the following stand out:

  • The approval of the statutory reform;

  • The approval of the 2026–2030 Strategic Plan;

  • The definition of the compliance policy;

  • The strengthening of the Masonic family and paramasonic bodies;

  • The ethical, civic, and humanist mobilization, translating our principles into measurable actions with real impact;

  • The structuring of institutional relationships with stakeholders through diplomacy based on dialogue, trust, and collaboration;

  • The consolidation of a think tank — a true circle of belonging — that unites talents, strengthens collaborative networks, and drives mass collaboration among the zones, with continuous training in the philosophy of the Order.

Together, we will continue to demystify Freemasonry, act for the benefit of society, and elevate humanity.

May the Grand Architect of the Universe illuminate our labors and guide us in building the society we dream of: just, fraternal, and ethical.

Fraternally and with unwavering conviction,

Campo Grande (MS), Brazil, April 10, 2026. 79th year of uninterrupted activity of the CMI.
